MARK PARISH COUNCIL
August 2024
Play Area by Village Hall.
The Parish Council has received some comments about the type of equipment currently available and in use in the Children's
play area next to the Village Hall. It should be stressed that each item of equipment meet every standard and are Inspected regularly. However, some think that we should look to replace some, if not
all of these much used and loved toys with something more appropriate.
It should be noted that each bit of equipment is very expensive and to replace them all in a short timescale would cost a
great deal of money which the Council does not have.
We would welcome suggestions from the Parish as to what we should be looking at in the near future.
Bleed Kits and defibrillators.
Most people are now aware that we have recently installed a Bleed Kit outside the Village Hall and it is there to be used in
a dire emergency and of course the same with the defibrillators which we have in the Village.
It is nice that we have such important equipment available but it is equally important that we know how to use them properly
when sadly required.
We earnestly ask people to try to visit the locations where the bleed kits and defibrillators are situated and look at the
instructions. You never know, one day you say be required to sadly use them!
Mark Parish website.
This page is administered by Councillor Jendy Weekes. She does an excellent job and strives to keep it up to date with
accurate information.
We are lucky to have a number of brilliant groups and such like in our Village. It is vital that Jendy is given the names
and contact numbers of those responsible for such groups etc
We are currently enjoying a spell of Sunshine and dry weather. Long may it continue!
