MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING -
MONDAY 19th AUGUST 2019
MARK PARISH COUNCIL
A Special Meeting of Mark Parish Council was held in the Church Hall, Vicarage Road, Mark on Monday, 19th August 2019 at 2.30 p.m.
Present:- Councillor S. Emary (Chairman) Councillors G. Francis, Mrs J. Horn, W. Human, J. Spencer and Mrs J. Weekes with the Clerk.
Apology for absence received from Councillors D. Champion and Mrs E. Corkish.
21. Declarations of Interest
Members had no interests to declare.
22. Freedom of Information Act
Members gave detailed consideration to a request received for information under the Freedom of Information Act. It was agreed, in the first instance, to seek legal advice.
23. Finance
a) Bank Reconciliation
A bank reconciliation for the period 1st April to 30th June 2019 was checked against the original bank statements and signed by the members who did not sign cheques as part of the Council’s internal controls.
b) Authorisation for Payment
It was agreed that the following payment be made:-
000888 Somerset Forge Ltd fingerpost restoration £2,598.00
24. Planning Portfolio
The following planning applications was considered:-
013 Conversion of agricultural building to dwelling, Fairview Farm, Blackford Road, Mark – O. Seymour – recommend permission subject to no objections being received from Members within the next seven days.
