MARK PARISH COUNCIL
A Special Meeting of Mark Parish Council was held on site at the former agricultural building to the north of Yardwall House, Yardwall Road, Mark on Saturday, 27th January 2024 at 10.30 a.m.
Present:- Councillor D. Kehoe (Chairman) Councillors Mrs A. Bennett and G. Francis.
Apology for absence received from Councillors D. Champion, W. Human, J. Taylor and Mrs J. Weekes.

58. Planning Applications
The following applications were considered
032 – Change of use of land to residential and erection of 3 dwellings on site of agricultural building to the north of Yardwall House, Yardwall Road, Mark – Messrs H. J. & N. Parker – recommend permission;
033 – Addition of extra floor to South East elevation and erection of front canopy, Laurens, Yarrow Road, Mark – Mr & Mrs L Fowler – recommend permission;
025 – Conversion of barn to holiday let (revised scheme), Magnolia House, The Causeway, Mark – Mr & Mrs M. Walker – recommend permission;
028 – Demolition of buildings and erection of self-build dwelling with garage to the north of Hart House, The Causeway, Mark – Mr & Mrs C. Smith – confirm recommendation of refusal;
07/23/00029 – Erection of dwelling with garage on site of Westways, Harp Road, Mark – P. Brown & Mrs M. Jones - no objection to the new dwelling but concern regarding obstruction to visibility at the Vole Road junction.
