The 2024 Annual Meeting of Mark Parish Council will be held in the Church Hall, Vicarage Lane, Mark on Tuesday 7th May 2024 at 7.00 p.m.
AGENDA
1. To elect a Chairman for 2024/25 (The Chairman must sign a declaration of acceptance of office)
2. Apologies
3. To elect a Vice-Chairman for 2024/25.
4. To identify any Disclosures of Interest.
5. Minutes of the Meeting of the Council held on 5th March 2024 to be approved and signed.
6. To receive an update from PCSO Nathan Chard
7. Report of the Somerset Councillors and LCN Update.
8. To approve the Council’s Financial Statement for 2023/24 (previously circulated)
9. To approve the 2023/24 Annual Governance Statement required by the external auditors.
10. To approve the 2023/24 Accounting Statement required by the external auditors.
11. To declare that Mark Parish Council is an exempt authority within the definition contained in the Local Audit (smaller authorities) Regulations 2015.
12. To review the insurance cover for 2024/25.

[a] Balance of Accounts current £5,633.71 & reserve £30,937.37 at 31.3.24
[b] Accounts for Approval for Payment
14. Planning Portfolio – to consider 003 – Change of use of agricultural building to 3 houses, Yardwall Road – Messrs HJ & N Parker, 004 – Erection of extension with 2 rooflights, Larches Barn, The Causeway – Mr & Mrs R. May together with any new applications received by the date of the Meeting and to confirm recommendations of permission made since the last Meeting in connection with
001 (livestock building, The Causeway) & 002 (temporary camp site, Northwick Road).
