Application: Erection of Livestock Building (Building B)

Planning application 33/14/00040

Location: Reed Farm, Southwick Road, Mark..

Application: Erection of Agricultural Workers Dwelling

Comment: No comments or observations

Planning application 33/14/00043

Location: Vicarage Lane Farm, Vicarage Lane, Mark

Application:  Fell Horse Chestnut T1

Applicant: Mrs S Campbell

Comment: We support this application as we consider that the poor condition of the tree constitutes a danger to the adjacent dwelling if it was to collapse in high winds. The tree is diseased and only 1/3 of the size it should be because the top fell down several years ago. There is no merit in keeping it but a condition should be placed on its removal to replace it with another tree.

  1. Any issues that should be reported to enforcement at Sedgemoor District Council - None

  1. Any other matters that members consider needed to be discussed

- It was noted that a Notice of Proposed Agricultural Development had been submitted to SDC fo an agricultural machinery shed on land SE of Ashdale, Northwick Road.

- It was noted that a meeting needed to be arranged with Duncan Harvey of SDC to discuss possible site in the parish for affordable housing.
