A Meeting of Mark Parish Council will be held in the Church Hall, Vicarage Lane, Mark on Tuesday 12th December 2023 at 7.00 p.m.

3.      Minutes of the Meeting of the Council held on 7th November 2023 to be approved and signed.

 

4.      Report of the Somerset Councillors and LCN Update

 

5.      Finance

      [a] Balance of Accounts current £16,667.69 & reserve £30,754.91 at 1.11.23

      [b] Accounts for Approval for Payment

      [c] To give consideration to the budget for 2024/25.

 

6.   Planning Portfolio – to consider 33/23/00030 – Erection of agricultural worker’s dwelling (reserved matters), Rookery Farm Creamery, Northwick Road, Mark – Mr & Mrs C. Petheram together with any new applications received by the date of the Meeting.

 

7.   Public Areas Portfolio

 

  • Highway Matters a) highway defects; b) fly-tipping; c) Northwick Road issues; d) missing Mark nameplate; e) damaged fingerpost sign; f) to consider any other new issue since the last Meeting.;
  • Public Rights of Way – to consider any new issues
  • Floral Tubs – to consider any issues regarding the future maintenance of the tubs.
  • Play Area – to consider a quotation for wet pour repairs.
  • Village Hall – to consider any issues;
  • Possible Parish Noticeboard refurbishment
  • Mark Cricket Club – request for letter of support for grant application
  • Land or Property in which Parish Council has an interest

 

8.   Website Portfolio – to consider any issues.

 

9.  Date of next Meeting – 5th March 2024 at 7.00 p.m.
