The Annual Meeting of Mark Parish Council will be held via Zoom on Tuesday 4th May 2021 at 7.00 p.m.

 

AGENDA

 

  1. Apologies

 

  1. Election of Chairman and Vice Chairman for 2021/22 (Chairman to sign a declaration of office)

 

  1. To identify any Disclosures of Interest.

 

  1. Minutes of the Meeting of the Council held on 2nd March 2021 to be approved and signed.

 

  1. To approve the Council’s Financial Statement for 2020/21 (previously circulated).

 

  1. To approve the 2020/21 Annual Governance Statement required by the external auditors.

 

  1. To approve the 2020/21 Accounting Statement required by the external auditors.

 

8.    To review the insurance cover for 2021/22 (cover for the new SIDs will increase the precept by £58.06)

 

    9.    To receive any report from the County Councillor.

 

   10.   Finance

      [a] Balance of Accounts current £4,252.99 & reserve £26,771.32 at 1.4.21

      [b] Accounts for Approval for Payment

 

   11.   Planning Portfolio - to confirm recommendations of permission in respect of 20/023 – Change of use  of land to domestic and erection of replacement double garage, 6 The City – I. Jones and 004 Change of use of agricultural buildings to three dwellings and associated works, Totney Farm, Blackford Road, Mark – A. Comer, together with any new planning applications received by the date of the Meeting.

                                             

   12   Public Areas Portfolio

 

  • Highway Matters a) highway defects; b) fly-tipping; c) extension of 30 mph speed limit, Blackford Road – completion of signage; d) proposed safety scheme, Mark First School; e) proposed village gateway, Blackford; f) SIDs; g) Proposed improvements to road signs, road markings and 20 mph zone in Blackford Road/Church Street.
  • 67 Bus Service.
  • Public Rights of Way – to consider any issues.
  • Play Area – to consider any issues;
  • Village Hall and Football Pitch Area – to consider any issue including flying of model aircraft in field;
  • Land or Property in which Parish Council has an interest

 

  13.  Website Portfolio – to consider any issues;

 

  14.  Date of next Meeting – 6th July 2021 at 7.00 p.m.
