A Meeting of Mark Parish Council will be held in the Church Hall, Vicarage Lane, Mark on Tuesday 14th December 2021 at 7.00 p.m.

      [c] Approval of Estimates for 2022/23


6.      Planning Portfolio – to consider 036 – Proposed change of use of agricultural buildings to flexible use, Laurel Farm, The Causeway, Mark – Mr & Mrs J. Griffin together with any new applications received by the date of the Meeting and to confirm recommendations of permission in respect of

031 Erection of replacement dwelling, The Homestead, Northwick Road, Mark – W. Howard.

032 Erection of single storey dwelling and formation of access, Vicarage Lane Farm, Vicarage Lane, Mark – R. Catton & Mrs S. Campbell.

033 Remove deadwood and crown to nearest suitable growth, Walnut Tree, 23 Grange Paddock, Mark – D. Hanlon.


 7   Public Areas Portfolio


  • Highway Matters a) highway defects; b) fly-tipping; c) lack of action from County Highways regarding completion of outstanding highway issues; d) situation regarding safety scheme, Mark First School; e) speed survey, Blackford Road; f) 67 bus service; g). Additional dog waste bin request for Littlemoor Road.
  • SIDs – to receive update on installation of new poles and SID at Blackford Road (Lorraine’s appeal)
  • Public Rights of Way – to consider any issues.
  • Play Area – annual safety inspection of play equipment and no dog signs.
  • Village Hall and Football Pitch Area – to consider any issues;
  • Wainbridge Farm - update
  • Land or Property in which Parish Council has an interest


     8   To consider an appropriate way to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth II in 

         2022 - e.g planting a tree at the end of Jubilee Green, a replacement bench at Jubilee Green, other 



     9.  Website Portfolio – to consider any issues;


     10.  Date of next Meeting – 1st March 2022 at 7.00 p.m.
