A Special Meeting of Mark Parish Council will be held in the Car Park, Mark Village Hall, Vole Road, Mark on Tuesday 9th June 2020 at 7.00 p.m.


  1. Apologies


  1. To identify any Disclosures of Interest.


  1. To approve the Council’s Financial Statement for 2019/20 (previously circulated).


  1. To approve the 2019/20 Annual Governance Statement required by the external auditors.


  1. To approve the 2019/20 Accounting Statement required by the external auditors.


6.   To receive the report of the Internal Auditor.


7.    To review the insurance cover for 2020/21


8.    Covid 19 – As Parish Councils are unlikely to be able to meet on a regular basis, on the advice of the Somerset Association of Local Councils, it is recommended to agree that any necessary decisions in the meantime be delegated to the Clerk in consultation with the Chairman and Vice Chairman (NB in practice this will involve consultation with all Members)

  • Somerset Forge Ltd – fingerpost sign refurbishment                         £2,004.00
  • Parish Clerk – expenses & sundry payments, 3 months                       £277.30


10. Planning - to consider any new planning application received by the date of the Meeting.
